Liliʻu E
This mele honors our last reigning monarch, Queen Lydia Kamakaʻeha Liliʻuokalani. As a beginning hula student, this hula is one of the first hula ʻolapa taught because it is a hula ʻai ʻuwehe, meaning that it is almost completely choreographed using the ʻuwehe hula step. Great practice for one of the most difficult kaʻina wāwae, foot movements.
